Here are the tasting notes from the judges at The Australian International Olive Awards, where it won GOLD in 2021: Good quality sample with aromas of rose and floral tones combined with leaves, vegetables and banana peel. Fantastic transfer of the aroma to the mouth that confirms the nose and joins with bitterness and astringency that give freshness to the whole. Well balanced in mouth with good expressivity. Long length.
With dried oregano and lovely sweet vanilla aromas, and ripe banana flavour, it leaves a lingering bitterness on the palate, with a long finish.
Our Grand Reserve Koroneiki is wonderful served with warm crusty bread, but also great as a finishing oil on baked fish, chicken and pork.
